MEET EMILY
Founder and Principal of Studio Henree
Studio Henree (aka Emily) has over a decade of experience in the interior design industry. She holds a BFA in Design and Architectural Studies from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst in addition to her studies abroad in Florence, Italy at Istituto Lorenzo de' Medici. Originally a Boston, Massachusetts native, Emily moved to Southern California in 2014. Her diverse portfolio includes high-end residential and boutique commercial interior design projects. Emily has been featured in several magazines and online publications. Originally established in 2019 as Henry Rose Design, a rebrand in 2022 reshaped the new venture of Studio Henree LLC. 'Studio Henree’ was inspired by an endearing baby nickname given by Emily's father. The name ‘Henree’ was the result of her resemblance to Henry, a baby cartoon character in the Sunday newspaper (circa 1932).

Our Mission
The mission is simple — every project should be approached individually and uniquely. By working with each client to develop their personal aesthetic, the goal is to give them something even better than what they originally envisioned. It is an opportunity to create a personal experience, not just a visually appealing design. A space should tell a story.
Studio Henree is defined as artfully layered, understated and bespoke. As a result of global travels and years working with a range of distinguished designers, Emily has developed a strong love for mixing styles and introducing eclectic, vintage additions to projects.
