Founder and Principal of Studio Henree
The Creative Journey
Studio Henree, led by Emily Taber-Moore, boasts over a decade of experience in the interior design industry. Emily holds a BFA in Design and Architectural Studies from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst and has enriched her education with studies abroad at Istituto Lorenzo de’ Medici in Florence, Italy. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Emily relocated to Southern California in 2014. Her diverse portfolio features high-end residential and boutique commercial interior design projects, earning her recognition in several magazines and online publications.
Originally established in 2019 as Henry Rose Design, a rebrand in 2022 transformed the venture into Studio Henree LLC. The name ‘Studio Henree’ was inspired by an affectionate nickname given to Emily by her father, based on her resemblance to Henry, a baby cartoon character from the Sunday newspaper (circa 1932).

Our Approach
Good design should feel personal, not prescribed.
Every Studio Henree project begins with understanding how our clients live, what they are drawn to, and how they want their space to feel. From there, we develop a point of view specific to the project, considering the architecture, how the space will actually be used, and the details that make it personal.
Our approach is highly considered without feeling contrived. We are not interested in imposing a signature look or chasing what happens to be trending. Instead, we look for the unexpected choice, the better solution, or the detail that gives a space its own identity.
