Founder and Principal of Studio Henree
The Creative Journey
Studio Henree, led by Emily Taber-Moore, boasts over a decade of experience in the interior design industry. Emily holds a BFA in Design and Architectural Studies from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst and has enriched her education with studies abroad at Istituto Lorenzo de’ Medici in Florence, Italy. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Emily relocated to Southern California in 2014. Her diverse portfolio features high-end residential and boutique commercial interior design projects, earning her recognition in several magazines and online publications.
Originally established in 2019 as Henry Rose Design, a rebrand in 2022 transformed the venture into Studio Henree LLC. The name ‘Studio Henree’ was inspired by an affectionate nickname given to Emily by her father, based on her resemblance to Henry, a baby cartoon character from the Sunday newspaper (circa 1932).

The Mission
The mission is simple: every project is approached individually and uniquely, with a focus on merging beauty and purpose. By working closely with each client to curate their personal aesthetic, the goal is to deliver an outcome that exceeds their original vision. This approach transforms each project into a personal experience, not just a visually appealing design, allowing every space to tell a story.

Emily’s richly diverse experiences as an innovator, entrepreneur, and world traveler have instilled in her a deep appreciation for blending styles and curating global treasures. Drawing from her extensive background and collaborations with distinguished designers, she brings a distinctive, multi-faceted design style to each project, incorporating eclectic and vintage elements to create spaces that are both unique and timeless.
