Every year I go back to the East Coast to see my family for the holidays, so when I was researching hotels in New York last year I stumbled upon The PUBLIC Hotel in Soho. This was the one. Incredibly designed and unique, this hotel is a must see even if you don’t stay there. The rooftop bar has exceptional views of the city, the lounge areas feel warm and homey yet elevated, and the restaurant there, Popular, with its Peruvian-inspired cuisine — SO good. Plus, it’s an Ian Schrager hotel and if you know that name, you know it’s good.
